The name ARTEFE, "arte" - art and "fe" (ferrum) - iron, indicates on the main material used for production of ARTEFE's goods. This is stainless steel which undergoes time-consuming working in order to achieve its unique and matt surface.
Highlighting the fact that the ARTEFE was brought to life in Cracow, we use materials associated with this historical town and its surrounding area. These are black oak excavated from the bed of the Vistula river and pieces of limestone typical of Krakow-Częstochowa Upland.
The wood of oak trunks which remained under water for a few hundreds or even thousands of years achieved a high toughness and a unique colour. A high quality of this material has been appreciated by artistic craft for ages. We have mastered the desiccation process and woodworking to perfection so that art could be present on your table.
The rock for stands comes from Krakow-Częstochowa Upland which is famous for its numerous and splendid gorges, valleys and caves. We have chosen a limestone layer carefully; its stone is exceptionally tough and of fine colour. That is why ARTEFE goods are unique. Now art and nature became one to grace your table.
